HAVRE — Macy Mangold homered and drove in five runs Saturday as Lewistown defeated Laurel 15-2 in nonconference girls softball.

The Golden Eagles swatted 16 hits, with Kacee Gordon batting 4 for 4. Mangold and winning pitcher Jessica Morgan went 3 for 3. Morgan had a double.

Morgan pitched a six-hitter in the five-inning game. She struck out seven and walked one.

Madison Cooney had two hits for the Locomotives. Teammates Taylor Feller and Bailey Chapman doubled.

Lewistown tallied six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
