The Montana men's tennis team moved over the .500 mark in Big Sky Conference play with a 5-2 win over Idaho State on Saturday at the Peak Racquet Club.
The win pushed the Griz to 4-3 in league matches, 7-11 overall. Idaho State fell to 4-3, 7-9.
Idaho State took the doubles point, but the Griz responded by winning four of the first five singles matchups to finish. Alex Cannellopoulos took a three-set win at No. 1 singles, 2-6, 7-6(7), 6-4 over David Felix. Ludvig Hallgren also won a three-set match at No. 2, while Maz Korkh and Ed Pudney won in straight sets. Pontus Hallgren took a three-set win at No. 6.
The Griz are off until April 14 when they play at Eastern Washington.
