OGDEN, UTAH — Big Sky Conference-leading Weber State swept a doubleheader from Montana on Friday, winning the first game 5-0 and the nightcap 5-2.

The losses dropped the Griz to 4-7 in league games, 16-28 overall. Weber State improved to 11-1, 19-18.

The Griz managed just two hits against Weber State starter Tatiana Su'esu'e while dropping the opener. It was the first time in 18 games the Griz were shut out.

Weber State got to Montana starter Colleen Driscoll for three runs and six hits, four of them for extra bases, in 2 2/3 innings.

After doubling in the opener, Cami Sellers singled in her first at-bat of the nightcap to extend her hitting streak to 17 games, tying the program record. She later homered to account for both of Montana's runs.

Tristin Achenbach started and took the loss for the Griz. She lasted four innings, giving up eight hits and five runs, four earned.

The same teams will meet again Saturday at noon.
