The Montana softball team came from behind for the second straight day to down Nevada, 6-5, on Friday at the Grizzly Softball Field.

With the game tied at 5-5, Anne Mari Petrino hit a one-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lexi Knauss followed with a walk-off double that scored Petrino with the winning run.

The Griz (9-21 overall) trailed 5-4 after five innings, but knotted the game in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Maddy Stensby.

Knauss' double made a winner of Colleen Driscoll, who pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief of Michaela Hood.

Petrino finished 4-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Knauss, Cami Sellers and Maygen McGrath finished with two hits apiece. Brooklyn Weisgram smacked a two-run homer in the first.

Montana and Nevada (17-11) will square off in the series finale Saturday at 1 p.m.
