BILLINGS — Billings West senior Kinzee Koch signed a letter of intent Friday with Dawson Community College, where she plans to play softball and volleyball.
Koch will pitch for the Dawson CC softball team, she told 406mtsports.com. She isn’t sure which specific position she’ll play on the volleyball court, but she’ll either be a libero or a defensive specialist, she said.
Koch, who is currently playing basketball for the Golden Bears, was a second-team all-state and first-team all-Eastern AA selection this past fall in her final high school volleyball season. The libero averaged 5.17 digs per set (No. 2 among all Class AA players) one season after leading the classification in digs, averaging 5.18 per set.
In the spring, Koch posted a 3.20 ERA, 72 strikeouts and 36 walks in 78 2/3 innings for the West softball team.
