MILES CITY — All 12 players on the roster scored and Miles Community College completed a 30-0 regular season with a 102-53 Mon-Dak conference women's basketball victory over United Tribes on Sunday.
MCC, ranked 17th in the most recent National Junior College Athletic Association poll, finished with a 14-0 league record.
United Tribes (North Dakota) fell to 13-16, 2-12.
Patrycja Jaworska scored 18 points and had five rebounds in 17 minutes for the Pioneers. Kate Golovkina added 12 points, Laura Moya 11 and Lucia Salazar 10.
Caitlyn Barkins added nine points, to go along with eight rebounds, for the Pioneers. Kylee Meredith dished out five assists.
MCC made 19 of 47 3-point field goals. Jaworska was 4 of 9 from 3-point territory, Golovkina 4 of 7, Moya was 3 of 4 and Carmela Garcia was 3 of 5.
United Tribes was 6 of 19 from beyond the 3-point arc. Kierra Johnson led United Tribes with 10 points.
Paying tribute to the team's second-year players on Sophomore Night, MCC raced out to a 31-11 lead. The Pioneers led 64-25 at intermission.
The Pioneers earned first place in the region in the regular season and will host the Region XIII Tournament March 1-3.
