DILLON — Former Three Forks standout Shainy Mack has signed a letter of intent to join the women's basketball program at Montana Western next season, Bulldogs head coach Lindsay Woolley announced Monday.
Mack is a 5-foot-8 guard and a 2018 graduate of Three Forks High School. She led the Wolves to an undefeated season and the Class B State championship in 2018.
For her career, she scored nearly 1,500 points averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists a game. She is a four-time first-team all-conference selection and a three-time all-state selection.
"Shainy was one of our top targets last year so we were very excited when she called us and told us she wanted to play," Woolley said. "She has a very high IQ, has a nose for the ball, and is an excellent shooter with good size. She is also a tremendous student and a perfect fit for our program."
Mack is a three-sport athlete who has earned 12 varsity letters. She is a three-time first-team all-conference and a two-time all-state selection in volleyball. She is a four-time all-conference, three-time all-state selection and won two state championships in golf.
Mack is a 12-time Academic All-State selection. She plans on majoring in business administration at Montana Western.
