GREAT FALLS — Fourth-ranked Montana State-Northern won seven of 10 matches en route to a 23-15 victory over No. 9 Providence in Cascade Collegiate Conference men's wrestling on Wednesday. 

It was the final dual of the regular season for both teams. 

With the win, Northern improved to 10-2. UP fell to 12-6.

Three matches pitted ranked wrestlers against each other, including No. 10 Andrew Bartel of Northern upsetting No. 1 Adrian Lyons-Lopez in overtime, 3-1, at 165 pounds. 

Third-ranked Brandon Weber of MSUN beat No. 5 Casey Dobson 4-0 at 157 pounds. And at 197 pounds, the Lights' Isaac Bartel, ranked second, defeated No. 7 John Hensely, 3-2.

One other top-ranked wrestler was in action as No. 1 Matt Weber of MSUN won a 3-1 overtime decision against unranked TJ Baun. 

The Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament is Feb. 15-16 in Great Falls.
