WHITEFISH — A pair of Rocky Mountain College runners received Frontier Conference indoor track athlete of the week honors.

Freshman Elijah Boyd received the men's accolade, and Bailey Bard was chosen as women's athlete of the week.

At the Colorado Running Company Mountain Lion Open, Boyd finished second in the 800 meters and was part of the 4,000-meter distance medley relay team that reached the NAIA "A" mark. Bard finished 14th in the 60 meters and 12th in the 400.

Lewis-Clark State senior Dana Abe and Montana State-Northern sophomore Sydney Hovde were selected as the Frontier basketball players of the week. 

Abe, a 6-foot-4 guard from Seattle, averaged 23.5 points and seven rebounds in the LCSC men's basketball team's two wins over Rocky Mountain and Carroll College.

Hovde, a 5-foot-10 forward from Columbia Falls, averaged 10 points and seven rebounds in the Skylights’ wins over Montana Tech and the University of Providence.
