HAVRE — Rocky Mountain College's defense created a pair of late turnovers to hold off Montana State-Northern 58-55 Saturday in Frontier Conference women's basketball.

The 12th-ranked Battlin' Bears (21-5, 11-5) remain tied for second in the league standings with Montana Western. Rocky holds the Bulldogs on Thursday.

Four Rocky players finished in double figures, led by Markaela Francis' 13 points. Mikayla Jones added 12 and Justyn Juhl 11 on 4 of 4 shooting from the field. Juhl also came up with a key steal late in the game. Hailee Farstveet added 10 points and eight assists.

Tiara Gilham led the Lights (10-17, 2-14) with a game-high 20 points.
