BILLINGS — Kyra Oakland of Miles City is one of two players to sign letters of intent to play for the Rocky Mountain College volleyball program.
The other signee is Lainne Wilkins of Vancouver, Washington.
Oakland, a 6-foot outside hitter, earned first team Class A all-state honors last fall as a senior.
"Kyra is very athletic and coachable," said Rocky coach Yang Yang in a school press release. "She has natural jumping ability and is aggressive on the court."
Wilkins is a 5-foot-6 setter who earned first team all-league and all-region, along with second team all-state honors, for Prairie High School. Her team finished sixth at the 2018 state tournament and fifth in 2017.
