Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears Golf

ROCKY FACE, Ga. — Competing against some of the best NAIA teams in the country, the Rocky Mountain College men's golf team placed 11th at the Roadrunner Classic.

The Battlin' Bears, ranked No. 9 nationally, finished with a three-round total of 923.

Coastal Georgia, ranked No. 1 in the NAIA poll won with a total of 868.

Rocky's Michael Tait and Reece Nilsen tied for 35th, both posting scores of 229. Tait was 75-75-78, while Nilsen was 75-78-75.

Colton Murphy was 43rd (230) while HoTae Kim was 56th (235) and Schaefer Paladichuk 62nd (239) for the Battlin' Bears.

The Frontier Conference Championships are April 15-17 in Phoenix.
