RED LODGE — After winning all four slalom races on Saturday, Rocky Mountain College finished the weekend with a sweep of Montana State during the four giant slalom races on Sunday.
The RMC women claimed the top three finishes in both of their races. Powering the Battlin' Bears was Emeline Lafarge, who finished first in both races.
RMC's Hannah Clancy was second in the first race race and finished in third in the second. Teammate Carina Bracy was second in the second race after finishing in third earlier in the day.
After winning the initial race with a total time of 218.67, Rocky's men tied the Bobcats with identical times of 236.67 in the second race. Rocky won the tiebreaker with 10 individual place points to Montana State's 12.
Sean McCormick took first in the first race.
The Bears' Andraz Reich-Pogladic finished fifth in the first race, but improved to a first-place finish in the second race. Teammate Esten Falksete finished second in both races.
The ski racing teams will compete next on Feb. 16-18 at the Northern USSA Qualifier at Montana Snowbowl.
