LAS VEGAS — Michael Tait of Rocky Mountain College shared medalist honors while the Montana State Billings women's team finished third at the Winona State Warrior Invitational on Wednesday.

The final round was played in high winds, making conditions difficult.

Tait was 69 and 80 for 149 to share first place with Ian Carroll of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis also won the team title with a 609 total. The MSUB men were eighth with 659.

Shi Qing Ong and Anna Bech of team champion Missouiri Western State shared medalist honors. Both were 159 for two rounds.

Missouri Western State had a total of 653 while the Yellowjackets were third at 686.

Tierney Messmer (7th, 77-92-169) led the MSUB women. She was followed by Shealyn Hafer (tie 8th, 73-97-170), Sarah Schroefel (tie 8th, 75-95-170) and Renae Heisler (tie 20th, 81-100-181).

Garrett Woodin (72-89-161) and Caleb Trost (76-85-161) tied for 20th to lead the MSUB men. They were followed by Riley Kaercher (tie 31st, 76-88-164) and Payton Stott (tie 56th, 84-91-175).
