LA GRANDE, Ore. — The University of Providence's Shonn Roberts was honored as the NAIA Wrestler of the Week.

The redshirt sophomore from Columbia Falls was also selected the Cascade Collegiate Conference's Red Lion wrestler of the week. 

Roberts, moved up to from 149 to 157 to accommodate some seniors against No. 14 Embry-Riddle, pinned returning All-American James Williams with four seconds remaining in the match.

Roberts, a returning All-American, was 20-7 with 10 pins when he was honored by the NAIA. 

UP is the only program in the country to have two wrestlers earn NAIA Wrestler of the Week this season. Earlier this season, redshirt sophomore Randy Keesler of Great Falls was the first winner of the award in UP program history.
