BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Alisha Breen powered her way to a season-high 32 points to help Montana State Billings defeat Western Washington 76-63 Saturday night in GNAC women's basketball.

The Yellowjackets (19-11, 12-8) open the GNAC Tournament on Thursday against Central Washington in Anchorage, Alaska.

Breen, a senior from Choteau, had the sixth 30-point game of her career. She finished 9 of 15 from the field, including three 3-pointers and was 11 of 12 from the free throw line.

Her 625 points ranks third-best all-time for a single-season. Breen also ranks second all-time with 1,835 career points.

Rylee Kane added 15 points and Vanessa Stavish came close to a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. The nine rebounds was a career high.

Kane also had four assists, which lifted her to second all-time on the career list with 533.

Kelsey Rogers led WWU (12-16, 8-12) with 19 points.
