ST. GEORGE, Utah — Brittanee Fisher homered and doubled in the same inning and Maddy Lincoln scattered seven hits in five innings to help the Montana State Billings softball team defeat Metro State 10-2 on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets (6-4) return home after a two-week road trip before going to Denver Feb. 16 for a doubleheader against the same Metro State team.

Fisher hit a two-run home run, her second of the season, and a two-run double as part of a seven-run third inning for the Yellowjackets.

Fisher (3-1) struck out three and walked two. She allowed both Metro State runs in the fourth inning in run-rule shortened game.
