PORTLAND, Ore. — The Montana State University Billings men's basketball team fellow below .500 in GNAC play with a 73-66 loss at Concordia on Thursday night.
Concordia (9-13, 4-10) shot 46.6 percent on field goals and 44.8 percent on 3-pointers, while MSUB (11-10, 6-7) shot 41.4 percent and 37.8 percent, respectively.
The Yellowjackets, playing without leading rebounder Melvin Newbern Jr., had four players score in double digits. Brendan Howard led MSUB with 18 points (8-of-14 from the field), Tyler Green had 17 (6-of-14 on field goals, 5-of-10 on 3s), Zack Rollings had 13 (4-of-11 on field goals) and Sven Jeuschede added 11 (3-of-4 on field goals and 3s). The only other Yellowjacket with points was Zharon Richmond, who finished with seven points (3-of-11 from the field), seven rebounds and five assists.
Concordia's Tyler Wells scored a game-high 22 points (9-of-15 on field goals, 4-of-8 on 3s), Jarrett Gray had 19 (8-of-14, 3-of-6) and Hunter Sweet added 13 (5-of-10, 3-of-5).
