BILLINGS — Montana State Billings used a sizzling start to roll past Seattle Pacific 92-63 Saturday in GNAC men's basketball at Alterowitz Gymnasium.
The Yellowjackets (10-8, 5-5) scored 55 points in the first half, shooting 69 percent (22 of 32) from the field.
Five MSUB players finished in double figures, led by Brendan Howard's 20 points. Tyler Green added 19, while Zach Rollins had 13 with Melvin Newbern Jr. and Seth Christiaens each adding 10. Green had four 3-pointers, while Newbern Jr. also had nine rebounds.
The Yellowjackets stay home this week, hosting Central Washington on Thursday and Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.
The Falcons (9-6, 6-4) were limited to 27 percent (7 of 26) shooting from the field in the first half. Nikhil Lizotte had a game-high 23 for SPU.
