Vanessa Stavish of Montana State Billings ranks eighth in school history with 150 3-pointers. She is one of three seniors who will be honored on Saturday, along with Taylor Edwards and Brina Hull. 

BILLINGS — The Montana State Billings women's basketball team closes out the regular season with home games against Western Washington and Simon Fraser.

The Yellowjackets (11-13, 7-11) host Western Washington (15-12, 10-9) on Thursday and Simon Fraser (17-9, 13-6) on Saturday. Both games begin at 7 p.m. at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

Sophomore Hannah Collins remains in contention for the GNAC scoring title averaging 15 points a game. She trails only Olivia Vezaldenos of Concordia who is averaging 15.4.

Taryn Shelley is averaging 11.3 points and 8.2 rebounds a game for MSUB and is a contender for GNAC Freshman of the Year honors. Shelley also has 44 blocks this season.

MSUB will honor seniors Vanessa Stavish, Taylor Edwards and Brina Hull on Saturday.

Stavish, of Frenchtown, ranks eighth all-time with 150 3-pointers. She also ranks eighth for 3-point attempts and career free throw percentage (77 percent). She has played in 121 games, third-most in program history. Stavish has 868 career points.

Edwards, of Great Falls, has played in 91 games for MSUB, making 19 starts. Hull, of Colstrip, has appeared in 100 games.
