PORTLAND, Ore. — Alyssa Etheridge of Montana State Billings was selected the GNAC pitcher of the week.

Etheridge, a freshman from Grants Pass, Oregon, pitched the first no-hitter in Yellowjacket history in an 8-1 win over Saint Martin's last Friday.

She struck out five and walked seven, allowing just one earned run. It was the 26th no-hitter in GNAC history.

Etheridge also pitched a complete game on Saturday in a 2-0 loss to the Saints. She allowed just two hits while striking out four.

MSUB has 18 one-hitters in school history, including 16 individual efforts and a pair of combined one-hitters.
