BOZEMAN — Manhattan Christian's Caleb Bellach and Helena High's Jamie Pickens are the Athletes of the Month for March after leading their teams to state basketball championships.

Bellach, a Montana State signee, poured in 42 points in the title game as the Eagles overcame nemesis Arlee 83-51 for the Class C boys crown. After hitting 12 of 19 shots from the floor and grabbing nine rebounds in the finale, Bellach was voted Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Arlee had defeated Manhattan Christian for the two previous state titles.
