Class AA and Class A saw some reshuffling in the girls basketball rankings.

In Class AA, Helena jumped from No. 3 to No. 1 after it beat previously top-ranked Missoula Sentinel. Helena Capital fell from No. 2 to No. 3, while Billings West leapt over Billings Senior after it rallied a 17-0 deficit last week to beat the Broncs. West is fourth and Senior fifth.

In Class A, Browning moved from No. 4 to No. 2 by beating Columbia Falls. The Wildkats, who spent a good portion of the season at No. 1, were No. 2 last week and dropped to No. 3 after the 61-50 loss to Browning. Hamilton dropped out of the poll after losing twice last week, while Hardin moved up to No. 4 and Billings Central entered the rankings at No. 5.

On the boys side, Class AA saw minor reshuffling as Missoula Hellgate moved up to No. 4, while Bozeman fell to No. 5. Great Falls CMR continued its run at No. 1 after it defeated the Hawks on Saturday and thumped Billings Skyview on Friday. Missoula Sentinel remained at No. 2 and Great Falls rounded out the top three.

After making its season debut in the rankings last week, Lewistown jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 this week with a 45-41 victory over Billings Central on Saturday in Class A. The Golden Eagles are getting hot at the right time and have won six games in a row, including three last week. Lewistown's 71-44 win over Livingston on Friday solidified its spot as the No. 1 seed from the Central A heading into this weekend's Eastern A Divisional. Undefeated Hamilton continued to reign as No. 1 in Class A, while Hardin and Browning remained at Nos. 3 and 4 respectively. Central fell to No. 5.

This is the final rankings of the year for Class A as postseason play begins across the spectrum this week. The Southwest and Northwest A had districts last week, but the Eastern and Central A still played regular season games. The final rankings of the season for Class B and C were set last week and Class AA will be finalized next week.
