After guiding Billings West to the Class AA state championship last month, Golden Bears coach Rob Stanton will look to extend Montana's four-game winning streak against North Dakota in June's Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl game in Miles City.

BILLINGS – Billings West football coach Rob Stanton takes the reins of the Montana team as the Treasure State looks to extend its winning streak in the Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl in the summer of 2019.

The annual game between graduated all-stars from Montana and North Dakota is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, in Miles City.

Montana won last year’s game 55-7, moving its winning streak to four consecutive games. Montana has also won seven of the last eight meetings, and holds a 19-6 lead in the series.

Joining Stanton on Montana’s coaching staff are Matt Hollowell (West), Kane Clauch (West), Jim Stanton (Billings Central), Les Meyer (Fairfield), and Greg Horton (Great Falls Central).

Class AA’s co-offensive MVPs Blake Counts of Kalispell Flathead and Jesse Owens of Billings West, and defensive MVP Lucas Gibb of West highlight the Montana roster.
