MISSOULA — Missoula Sentinel scored a run in the bottom of the seventh on a Billings Senior error to salvage a softball split with a 2-1 win in the second game Friday.

Senior, with an 11-hit attack in the first game, won 6-1. Dacee Zent doubled among two hits and drove in a run and Cassidy Venner and Allison Nyquist also had two-hit games for the Broncs.

Ellie Ostermiller allowed just three hits in picking up the win. Shelby Dunwell and Mackenzie Wright doubled for Sentinel.

In the second game, Zent’s solo home run in the top of seventh tied the score at 1-1. But Wright, who was also the winning pitcher, singled in the bottom of the seventh and eventually scored the game-winner on an error. Both teams had four hits.
