MISSOULA — Jessica Ellis, Skyler Meagher and Libbi Painter drove in two runs each and 12 players had hits in Billings Skyview’s 21-1 softball win over Missoula Big Sky on Saturday.

The victory helped the Falcons salvage a split on the day after losing 7-3 to Missoula Sentinel earlier.

Grace Hardy drove in two runs, and Shelby Dunwell scattered eight hits and struck out six to lead the Spartans to their win against the Falcons. Four players had two hits with Jalen Cooper and Amy Taylor collecting doubles.

Kaylee Kannegieser and Ashlynne Copinga had two hits for Skyview.

Against Big Sky, pitcher Katy Story picked up the win for the Falcons. She allowed three hits and the lone run in the three-inning game.
