MISSOULA — Billings West scored 41 runs and allowed just two hits in a softball doubleheader sweep of Missoula Big Sky on Friday.

Deven Creech homered and drove in three runs and Carrie Carpenter also had three RBIs to help the Golden Bears win the first game 20-0. The Bears had seven hits and took advantage of five Big Sky errors.

Creech allowed two hits in the game, which was shortened to three innings.

In West’s 21-1 win in the second game, McKinsey Matthews had three hits, including a double and a home run, and five RBIs. Lauren Blaschak homered and had three RBIs, and Chloe Nelson doubled and tripled.

West pitcher Kinzee Koch didn’t allow a hit in the three-inning game.
