Sue Dvorak resigned as Billings Senior volleyball coach on Monday.

BILLINGS — Sue Dvorak resigned as Billings Senior's volleyball coach on Monday.

Senior finished second at the State AA tourney in 2017 and wound up with a 32-2 record. The Broncs advanced to this year's state tournament and were eliminated after two matches, finishing 25-9.

An email from School District 2 Director of Athletics and Activities Mark Wahl said Dvorak was retiring with plans of traveling and spending more time with her family.

"We truly appreciate all Sue has done during her two years at Senior High. We wish her and her family all the best," Wahl wrote.

Dvorak was hired in February 2017 to succeed the retired Jeff Carroll, who coached the Broncs to 12 state titles in 31 seasons.

The position will open within the next few weeks the release said.
