The Missoula Junior Bruins rode hot shooting to a 12-3 win over the Butte Cobras on Saturday night at Glacier Ice Rink.

Vadim Zubkov scored five goals and added two assists to pace Missoula, which took 42 shots to Butte's 19. The Jr. Bruins jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first period and 11-3 after two periods.

Teammates Misha Akatnov and Ty Dittman added two goals and two assists each. Connor Frye and Christian Ward chipped in two assists and one goal apiece. Trevor Prince netted one goal, while three players had one assist each: John Bannon, Wyatt Ploot and Riley Anderson.

Missoula goalie Seth Daniel saved 16 of Butte's 19 shots.

The Jr. Bruins improved to 25-18-1-0 (51 points) and remained in fourth place in the Frontier Division. Butte dropped to 5-35-2-1 (13 points).

Missoula has three games remaining in the regular season. Its next game is March 2 at Helena.
