ARLINGTON, Texas — Top-ranked Professional Bull Riders cowboy Jess Lockwood broke his collar bone at the PBR Global Cup USA on Saturday.

Lockwood, the PBR world champion in 2017 who won the first two top-tier events this season, was replaced on Sunday by alternate Sage Kimzey on Team USA-Eagles.

According to an article on PBR.com, the Volborg bull rider was scheduled to meet with doctors this week to determine the extent of the injury.

Team Brazil won the event with Team USA-Eagles second and Team USA-Wolves third.
