BILLINGS — Eldon Olson, 75, was recently inducted into the World Association of Benchers and Dead Lifters Hall of Fame.
The induction is the latest in a list of accolades the Billings powerlifter has achieved while competing in the WABDL.
Olson is a 12-time bench press world champion while competing in three different age divisions (54-60, 61-67, 68-74) in the 275-pound classification.
Olson has also set eight WABDL world records. Competing in his current division, Olson is ranked No. 1 in the bench press.
“Eldon is still competing and doesn't have any plans of letting up,” said Plaza Fitness instructor Sean McDaniel. “He is an inspiration.”
