BOZEMAN — Montana State and Montana announced Tuesday that alcohol can be purchased at beer gardens in each school's stadium during football games this season.
Operated by Plonk, MSU game ticket holders age 21 and older may purchase beer and wine within the confines of the beer garden. Food is allowed in the area, but beverages will not be allowed back into the stadium. The same rules apply at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium beer garden, which is operated by The Bandlander.
The new beer gardens in Bozeman and Missoula will open 90 minutes before kickoff through the third quarter. Patrons will be allowed to buy up to two beverages per purchase. The beer gardens will be accessible only from inside each stadium.
