BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College men's basketball coach Bill Dreikosen announced Monday that Billings West's Cade Tyson has signed a letter of intent to join the program for the 2020-21 season.

Tyson, a 5-foot-10 guard for the Golden Bears, averaged 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.2 steals per game last year. Tyson was a second team State AA All-Tournament team selection as a junior and was a second team Eastern AA all-conference selection.

Tyson scored a career-best 30 points, including seven 3-pointers, against Missoula Sentinel last season. He also registered a 27-point, five-rebound, four-assist performance against Great Falls.

"Cade is an integral piece for our 2019-20 recruiting class. We are getting one of the top guards in the state of Montana," said Dreikosen in an RMC press release. "We are excited about the impact he will bring on the court and in the classroom. Cade is the type of kid we are consistently looking to have in the program and his character, work ethic, and toughness will be a great asset."

Tyson plans to pursue a degree in chemistry.
