BUTTE — Daniella Russell had a match-high 15 kills and Natalie Hilderman had a double-double as Rocky Mountain College defeated Northwest of Washington in four sets on Friday at the Big Sky Challenge.

The Battlin' Bears won 25-19, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17.

Hilderman finished with 36 assists and 11 digs. Both Hilderman and Russell are from Red Lodge.

Morgan Allen, Monique Rodriguez and Miranda Gallagher had eight kills apiece for Rocky (3-2). Ayla Embry had a team-high 21 digs, while Annie Cooked added 18 and Kailey Thomson 11.

The Battlin' Bears finished Friday with a 28-26, 25-20, 25-20 sweep of Evergreen State.

Gallagher had a team-best 15 kills, while Hilderman had 18 digs. Naomi Bad Bear finished with three blocks.
