KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Rocky Mountain College volleyball team begins the 2019 season ranked No. 13 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 poll.

The University of Providence is ranked No. 21. Defending national champion Park of Missouri received all 18 first-place votes to be selected No. 1.

The Battlin' Bears finished 30-6 last season, going unbeaten during the Frontier Conference regular season before losing to the Argos in the Frontier Tournament championship match.

Rocky received an at-large berth to the NAIA National Tournament and advanced to bracket play where it finished ninth overall. The Battlin' Bears were ranked No. 13 in the final poll of 2018.

Providence played in the NAIA national tournament for the first time in program history, finishing 17th overall. The Argos were 23-11 last season.
