GREAT FALLS — University of Providence women's golf coach Nick Jankiewicz announced the addition of Helena College transfer and Helena Capital High alumna Kielar Jones.

Jones, a freshman and native of Helena, graduated from Capital and joins the Argos after spending her first year of college at Helena College. During her senior season with the Bruins, Jones was voted the team's most valuable golfer, averaging the lowest stroke total with 94.7.

She placed second at the Old Works Championship and third in the Gallatin Valley Invitational, setting a career-best of 82 strokes.

"Kielar will be a perfect fit on our golf team," Jankiewicz said in a press release. "She's a smart, hard-working athlete with a great attitude, who strives to improve her game every year."
