BILLINGS — With four runners in the top nine, including a 1-2-4 finish, Lewis-Clark State won the men's team title at the Frontier Preview meet Friday afternoon at Amend Park.

The Warriors had five runners among the top 11 to finish with 27 points. Black Hills State was second with 51 and Rocky Mountain College third with 58. Montana State Billings placed sixth.

The Black Hills State women had four runners among the top 11 to win with 49 points. Carroll was second with 67 and Lewis-Clark State third with 81. Rocky was fourth with 87 and Montana State Billings eighth with 197.

Chase Barrow and Cole Olsen placed 1-2 for the Warriors with Barrow winning in 26:45.2. Olsen was second in 26:51.1. Only five seconds separated second through fifth place.

Isaac Petsch (27:11.4) led Rocky with a seventh-place finish and teammate Jackson Duffey (27:18.1) was eighth. They were followed by Elijah Boyd (10th), Joseph Vanden Bos (17th) and George Beddow (20th).

Logan Straus paced the MSUB men with a 21st-place finish. He was followed by Bryant Edgerton (30th), Ase Ackerman (42nd), Carson Jessop (45th) and Nick Redgrave (63rd).

Carroll's Regan Worley won the women's race by 12 seconds over Rocky's Ruth Chepsat. Worley finished in 19:16.7 and Chepsat followed in 19:28.5.

Chepsat was followed by Courtney Hallock (9th), Sydney Little Light (14th), Carrie Daniels (30th) and Carina Bracy (32).

Nikki Aiken was 13th to pace the Yellowjacket women. She was followed by Kailee Stoppel (45th), Sierra Durbin (54th), Miranda Livingston (56th) and Rachel Hiner (63rd).
