GREAT FALLS — Providence men's basketball coach Steve Keller announced Wednesday that Missoula Hellgate's Fisher Richardson will join his team for the 2019-20 season.

Richardson, a guard, started his high school athletic career at Loyola Sacred Heart before transferring to Hellgate. As a Knight, Richardson has competed in football, basketball and tennis. He helped lead Hellgate's men's basketball team to a State AA runner-up finish this past winter.

Richardson is interested in pursuing a degree in business administration on the pre-law track at the University of Providence.

"We are excited to have Fisher Richardson join the Argo basketball program," Keller said. "Fisher played for coach Jeff Hays at Hellgate, so we know he has been well-coached, which is really exciting for us to help further his development.

"Fisher has the size and skills to play at the next level and we are looking forward to watching his progress in our league."
