THREE FORKS -- Boys basketball coach Terry Hauser has officially begun his duties as athletic director at Three Forks following the May retirement of longtime AD Mike Sauvageau, the Belgrade News reported Thursday.

The school also has a new football coach in former Montana State player Connor Sullivan, the News reported.

Hauser played for Sauvageau on the Wolves' 2001 boys Class B state championship basketball team and has coached the program for three years. Sauvageau, who now coaches the girls team, was athletic director for 35 years.

"Thirty-five years is enough," he told the paper. "I just think it was a good time."

Sullivan is an Ennis native and played tight end for MSU. He succeeds Matt Bakken, who left after two seasons for a teaching job in Bozeman, the paper reported.
