Hamilton High School has announced that head girls basketball coach Mark Albert has retired from the position.
Albert has been the head coach for the last seven years. He has been coaching basketball at some level for the last 31 years. Albert and the Broncs won the Class A state title in 2015.
"The impact Coach Albert has made on countless student athletes is greatly appreciated, and Hamilton High School students will continue to benefit from Coach Albert’s wisdom as a classroom teacher," a press release from the school said. "On behalf of the community, Hamilton High School administration would like to thank Coach Albert for his dedication and commitment to our girls basketball program."
Albert also coaches Hamilton cross country. He remains as the head coach of the long-distance runners as the Broncs head toward the state cross country meet on Oct. 26 in Great Falls.
