MISSOULA — Helena Capital's Kadyn Craigle scored the second of his two touchdown runs with 2:16 left in the fourth quarter and the Bruins slipped by Missoula Hellgate, 33-28.

The Knights went up by a point with a little over six minutes left in the game on a 13-yard rush from quarterback Rollie Worster, but struggled to get the defensive stop they needed late in the game. Worster also threw an 81-yard strike late in the second quarter to Brayden Terzo.

Hellgate had an opportunity to win the game with a last-gasp drive in the fourth quarter, but was derailed by several bad snaps. The Knights had four snaps on the night go over Worster's head, with three coming on the final drive.

Worster was also injured with 56 seconds left in the third quarter and missed several plays on a promising drive. He was able to return to the game on the next Capital offensive possession, playing his usual defensive back spot.

On the final offensive drive of the evening for the Knights, he had a long run that brought Hellgate down to the Capital 33, where the drive sputtered, ending on a bad snap.

Capital's Parker Johnson caught a 49-yard touchdown pass with 3:55 left in the first quarter. The extra point was missed and the Bruins led 6-0.

Hellgate and Capital traded touchdowns through the rest of the first half, with sophomore Knight running back Jake Sweatland scoring the first and last touchdowns of the second quarter. Quinn Belcher hauled in an impressive 32-yard touchdown from Bridger Grovom, which the Knights then responded to with the aforementioned Terzo touchdown.

Craigle had his first score of the day with 3:36 left in the second quarter, but Hellgate led 21-20 at halftime.

Capital's Noah Braden had the lone touchdown of the second quarter, a 5-yard run.

The Bruins moved to 6-2 on the season, while Hellgate fell to 3-4 and is riding a four-game losing streak.
