BUTTE — The Great Falls Bison continued their stampede through the Eastern AA on Tuesday afternoon at Stodden Park, sweeping past Butte High to stay undefeated in league play and improve their overall record to 18-0 while claiming a berth in the Class AA State Tournament.  

The Bison held off the Bulldogs 3-1 in Game 1 and then rolled to a 10-0 shutout in Game 2. 

Butte falls to 14-7 overall and 8-4 in conference play. The pair of losses broke a three-game win streak for the Bulldogs. Kennedi Ferriter batted in Butte's lone run during Game 1 on an RBI single.

Great Falls' Erin Hocker earned the win in Game 1, allowing four hits including Ferriter's RBI. Morgan Sunchild set the tone for the Bison at the plate in the first game, racking up three hits on four at-bats including a triple and an RBI.
