HANOVER, N.H. — Cam Strong of Billings has been named the alternate captain for the Dartmouth men’s hockey team for the 2019-20 season.

Strong, a senior forward, will wear the ‘A’ on his sweater this season. Junior defenseman Brendan Demler of Lebanon, Ohio, was named team captain.

Strong, the only Montanan currently on an NCAA Division I hockey roster, enters his senior year having played in 88 career games. He has scored 16 goals and 24 points.

Strong was named Dartmouth’s rookie of the year following the 2016-17 season and in 2018 won the team’s sportsman of the year award.

Dartmouth opens its season Nov. 1 at Harvard.
