GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Missoula Junior Bruins snapped three-game losing streak in winning their final regular-season road game Saturday.

The Jr. Bruins used two goals from Colby Birch in the first 32 minutes to set the tone and finished with a 5-0 win over the Gillette Wild in a clash of playoff-bound teams at Spirit Hall Ice Arena. Missoula moved to 26-16 in NA3HL play with three overtime losses and one shootout loss.

Key to the outcome was Missoula's three-goal explosion in the second period. Birch started the onslaught at 11:11 and within the next seven minutes Elias Pukkila and Tyler Young also scored.

The Jr. Bruins will finish up their regular season with a home game against the Bozeman Icedogs on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
